Day 3 - A let-down for me

Hi, I listened to Ginny's call, did my newspapers, and actually got two "bean" people. Everyone was so hurried today. Standing in line at the gas station, I asked the lady in front of me if she would do me a favor and I told her about the Boot Camp and the requirement of talking with five people, but even as I started to talk with her, she pulled away - her body language said everything! And her answer was predictably: "No" This was my first person whom I did not know. What a letdown!!
I went to my first newspaper route, and saw that Grace C. was getting out of her car after she had been shopping. Since I was going into her building to deliver papers there, I offered to carry some of her bags for her. She used to be a customer of mine (couldn't afford the paper anymore) and she is also handicapped. I started telling her about the Boot Camp and how I had committed to lead 10 people to an income of $2000 per month after 60 days, and she was real interested. I got her "vitals" and I am calling her back tomorrow, something which I have scheduled to do with the next person at my third newspaper route:

Next, was Tim B. while I was delivering papers. He and his wife were getting ready to leave and saw me coming, so Tim walked up to get his paper. Except, his paper had been stopped for non-payment today....
He said: "It's just as well, I was just laid off." So I told him I had a thing for him that was better than sliced bread, explained the Boot Camp goal and the Power Mall basics to him while his wife came over (she was kind of skeptical) and when I was done and got his name and the rest of the info, he actually shook my hand and thanked me!! Now that was a great build-up!!
After that, I went toWalMart to finally get the WebCam and more printer ink (I need those items now, and although I ordered the ink last night, I ran out this morning. Talked to a young mother with two children who did not want to give me her information, stating since everything was on the invitation, she would call me when she had checked it out. Oh, well....
The cashier at WalMart was more receptive but with a line waiting to be serviced, did not have much time. But she thanked me for the invitation, and promised she would look at it. And I gave another invitation to the lady behind me in line....
So ---- only two "bean" people today. I did send out some emails to people who I had talked with before, and who had never gotten back to me. No response from those so far, so I guess I will let them find out later what they are missing.
Great-Grandma Baker (in yesterday's report) is almost ready to sign up - she is 88 but has her computer and emails all over the world.... and since she can barely walk anymore, she is ordering more and more from catalogues. Told her it would benefit her to have a mall of her own so she could live better on her narrow income.
Well, that's about it for today - and tomorrow is another one. Good night All!!
